The Tribe owns five (5) closely held businesses all located in St. Paul: The Aleut Community Store, St. Paul Restaurant & Lounge, St. Paul Real Estate, HMC, and ECO Enterprise. The goal of Tribal Enterprises is to create jobs, income, and economic value for the Aleut Community. Our businesses focus is to supply quality products and services to St. Paul, the Pribilof Islands, and the greater Bering Sea Region.
The Aleut Community Store was established in 1946 and was primary source of income for the Tribe for many years and financed the fight for Aleut independence. During the difficult years in the 1980’s sealing ended and the store was lost. In October 2017 the store was regained and is currently managed and operated by the Tribe.
The Aleut Community of St. Paul Tribal Government is honored to announce plans to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the founding of the “Knock Down and Skin ‘Em” Baseball club of St. Paul Island. To commemorate the long and rich history of baseball on St. Paul Island, the Tribal Government will be planning a series of events and programs dedicated to the history of the club and will honor the long and rich history of baseball for the St. Paul community.
